Northwest Flyers Inc. is an IRS 501(c)7 not-for-profit
flying club.
Our 1981 Cessna 182R
and
1981 Cessna 172P aircraft are based
on the field at the
Marianna (Florida) Municipal Airport. We have fifteen pilot members,
an active Board of Directors, a Safety
Officer, Maintenance Officer as well as our
own flight instructors.
Pilots (or student pilots) wishing to become a member of our
organization must purchase and subsequently
transfer the
membership from a current member as well as
be unanimously approved by all fourteen other
members. A full copy of our handbook
as well as other membership requirements are
available upon request.
Click here for a membership application.
(Student pilots and new pilots are allowed,
with club approval. We like people
flying our planes!)
Our aircraft are kept in excellent
condition. The
Cessna 182R has a
two-axial autopilot, a Garmin G5, JPI engine
monitor and GNS 650
touch-panel GPS and is IFR certified; the
Cessna 172P has more basic equipment (no GPS)
and is basic IFR only.
Both are kept in excellent mechanical
condition, thanks to our club's (unpaid!)
maintenance officer.
Our members are
pilots, who use an
online tool to check
each aircraft availability and to book
either of our aircraft in advance.
We provide
this public website for those who may be
interested in who we are, what we do, and
how to get in touch with us.
